Daniel has spent more than fifteen years at government contract boutique law firms representing government contractors across the entire spectrum of government contract matters. He focuses his practice on problem solving, working with clients to understand their short-term and long -term business objectives. Daniel works with clients on bid protests at the Court of Federal Claims and Government Accountability Office, and handles appeals at the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Daniel’s protest practice begins with the end in mind, working with the client to identify the potential outcomes, and counseling as to the best path forward in light of those objectives.
In addition to protest work, Daniel provides general counseling, pursues claims, and works to resolve disputes among commercial parties. He represents small businesses to ensure companies comply with ever-changing small business regulations, defends clients subject to investigations, and supports companies as they look to grow organically or through acquisition.
Daniel devotes his time to make sure he understands the culture and business needs and goals of each client that he works with. He does not take a cookie-cutter approach to the practice of law, recognizing that no company takes a cookie-cutter approach for the business.
Outside of law, Daniel serves on the Board of Gesher Jewish Day School, where his term as Board Chair ends in June of 2026. He spends time with his wife, kids, and two dogs.
