Another DOHA Clearance Victory

Bill Savarino helped save another DoD clearance at the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA).   This successful appeal involved multiple issues under Guideline C, Foreign Preference.   The applicant, a well-known and accomplished CEO of a major publically traded IT company, was a dual British – U.S. citizen.  He exercised British citizenship by renewing and using his British passport on multiple occasions and indicated to investigators an unwillingness to relinquish it.
