Medical Marijuana and Security Clearances

Bill Savarino and Rhina Cardenal successfully defended the security clearance of an individual facing accusations related to the use of medical marijuana. After Mr. Savarino and Ms. Cardenal presented their case, the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals withdrew the challenge without the need for a hearing.

Federal and state laws related to marijuana are constantly changing, which creates difficult issues for clearance holders. Please contact Bill Savarino if you have questions or need assistance with security clearance matters, including issues related to the use of medical and recreational marijuana.
